Hide 'n' Squeak Rattery
Bay Area California based Rattery specializing in breeding healthy, friendly working rats used in training scent sports to dogs. The primary goal of my Rattery is to breed with health in mind as I select for the most confident and social rats around dogs. Working rats are availbe upon request however, any rats that do not naturally enjoy or are easily stressed from working with dogs will become available to be rehomed as pets. Coat colors and coat patterns are not a priority in this breeding program, so there may be a wide variety based on the temperament and health being selected for, although all of the rats in my rattery are Dumbo-eared.

New rat owners are required to go through a screening process, in addition to providing proof of proper rat husbandry equipment prior to hold deposits being accepted. Rats are social creatures and are required to have at least one buddy - 2 rat minimum. Rats must be 8+ weeks old before going to their new home. Rehoming fees are required. Rats are welcomed to be returned at any time for any reason at any point in their life.
